Warranty Information
The Reliance Pro/Tran R Series (NEMA 3R) transfer switches are ideal for outdoor installation in residential and commercial applications. The gasketed steel cabinet is powder-coated, with padlockable cover, and will accommodate the generator cord with the cover closed. Included is 16-inch length of flexible non-metallic, liquid-tight conduit with fittings. Simply mount the cabinet, attach the conduit and feed the clearly-marked wires from the transfer switch into the load center. Then select the load center circuits needed in an emergency and connect them to the wires leads from the transfer switch. Each cabinet includes six combination 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch knockouts, one on each side, two on the bottom and two on the back.

All Raintight Pro/Tran transfer switches feature branch-circuit rated breakers, heavy-duty power inlet and non-defeatable (break-before-make) double-throw switches. All 125/250V models feature exclusive Reliance wattmeters with accuracy of ± 3% throughout the entire range.

Works like a champ!

It literally took me longer to mount it on the wall than it did to wire it. Great product!

Well built

Ordering was easy and arrived in a few days. This unit is rather heavy but considering the amount of copper wire and strong metal box it is understandable.

Best price around

I mount transfer switch 15 feet away from my electrical box out side behind my fence. My electrical box is on the outside had to install 1 ½ conduit for the wire. Pull all of the wire through with out a problem. I had to add 40 ft of wire for each switch's I use wire butt to connect my wires together. I wired the box myself. It is easy, you can do it.

Reliance transfer switch

You need a transfer switch to power your house with a generator. I wired the box myself and you can too. Mount it about 4 or 5 inches away from your electrical box and you'll have plenty of wire. Put all of the wire through the hose at once, before bolting it all together. If you don't, the last 4 or 5 wires are very difficult to get through the connecting hose. It is easy, you can do it. I soldered my wires together, but that is not required. Just something to think about.
