The Powerhouse PH2100PRi is the most feature-packed 2000 watt generator on the market. It has a 4.35 HP, 4-stroke engine for a maximum output of 2100 watts, and is also equipped with electric remote start, as well as a standard recoil pull start. A convenient fuel primer bulb and automatic choke ensures a fast start. The engine can be set to run at variable speed for maximum fuel economy or at constant speed for full power. The PH2100 has a built-in carry handle or can also be equipped with an optional wheelie/pull handle kit for easy transport. Using an optional parallel kit, this generator can easily be combined with a second generator, either a PH2100PRi or a PH2700PRi to produce a maximum output of 4,200 watts.

very nice but not perfect
Comment:I have about 25 hours on my generator after a year of monthly use. I run a chain saw, 90A (120V) inverter welder and a variety of lights, chargers, etc. I took it all apart and was surprised by the level of design and the good workmanship. Engine control is not as smooth as the red generators and the noise is a bit higher but this unit has a automatic choke which I needed. Once I learned how to prime it after sitting a day, or more, starting is reliable though I usually use the pull start for the first start of a use session. Once prime is solid the E start works every time. The remote is handy too. Fuel burn seems about 5% more than the spec but much less than a constant speed unit. It starts some induction motors well but kicked out when I asked for 70A for more than a second. No damage, just turned off the output forcing a reset. The design team is in the US and answers questions. Parts are also available. Overall I am enjoying using it and look forward to a long life.

PH 2100PRi Power House
Comment:I have owned this generator for about a year. When I first bought it ran for about a week and the inverter went out. I returned it to a local dealer he fixed it under warranty. Has worked fine since. What I like about the generator is the remote start for camping. My wife can get up before me cook her coffee by starting the gen. remotely. The unit is a little heavier than I like but manageable. If I am not using it regularly I start if every 3 months to keep battery charged.

Good on gas
Comment:I have used it all weekend dry camping in the desert. With light electrical loads it works perfect. It will not run the A/C unit on the trailer (13,500 btu). Some loads, such as the microwave work well, and you will hear the engine ramp up. If heavy loads are going to be run, switch off the econ mode. I bought a sound meter to check the noise level and it runs in the upper 60's, typically 68dB.

Comment:Got my Powerhouse generator, took out of the box, added gas, oil BAM fired right up. The unit is very quiet and has excellent power. I tried a microwave no problem, 1500W heater no problem. I would recommend this unit.
