As global energy consumption grows at exponential rates, so does the demand for energy solutions that are both more environmentally responsible and more efficient. The DuroMax XP4400EH has a dual fuel system that operates on either standard gasoline or cleaner burning liquid propane which can more than double you generator's run time.
With the XP4400EH, operating on propane will not gum up or foul your generator's carburetor, and will give you quick, reliable starts every time. It only takes a few seconds to switch over from regular gas to propane, and with the flexible line, you can easily hook up any size propane tank including the one from your barbeque. Unlike gasoline, propane can be stored for years without going bad.Runs both gasoline and propane Full featured power panel All-terrain never flat tires Flip-up stow away handles

Ordered a Scratch / Dent unit, Just Fine
Comment:Just a little difficult with the shipping bracket. Unit fired up and ran great for an hour as a test. Completing the picture with a battery tender and a solar light in case it is needed under cover of darkness, to get started. I consider gasoline as the optional fuel as much less trouble with LPG as the norm, but it is still a great option!

Comment:I am sorry I only gave my unit a 4. It would not start with the key because the battery did not get a full charge with my initial 15 minute test and 5 minute test the next day. I put the battery on my trickle charger and it powered up in no time. This generator is truly a 5. I rounded up 7 unwanted LP tanks in two days and had them filled for $20 each. Bring on that next power outage.

PROPANE YES YES YES
Comment:Delivery was about six days, thank you. Oil was easy but battery was a little work with those small hex nuts. After I realized the key has to be turned on, it started with one pull. This unit is perfect for what it is- an emergency generator. It powers my whole house because my hot water heater, furnace and stove are natural gas and I don't have central air conditioning. It will do the 220 volt cloths dryer and everything else.

Comment:I received my generator within approximately 36 hrs from ordering it online which I thought was unbelievable. Took me a while to put the wheels on and hook up the battery but no big deal. My biggest complaint is how difficult it is to put oil in it.I had to drive 25 miles to town to get a small funnel with a hose small enough to to reach the opening. After that I started it with one pull. Had to charge the battery before it would start with key. I like the dual fuel use. Now I'm ready for any power outages. I am the last one on the power line so I lose power quite often. All in all very pleased with my purhcase & free delivery was an extra bonus.

Comment:We put the generator together last weekend to test it out. We live in Florida and it's hurricane season. It was easy to put together. We turned it on and my husband got his band sander to test it. He plugged it in, turned it on and to our surprise the sander was louder than the generator. I now have several maintanence men from work wanting them. Love it best investment we've made!!

Love the new Genny!
Comment:I ordered this generator to power the AC in my rv while camping. It arrived in a very timely fashion and in good condition. I have only run it on propane and don't plan to run it on gas except in an emergency. I have had it out for one camping trip and it works great. It starts quick with the electric start and doesn't struggle when the compressor kicks in on my ac as some that I have used before have. It is light enough that I can put it in and out of my lifted truck by myself. The only negative thing that I can say about it is that the rubber feet on the front legs pop off if you slide them. I think i'm going to replace them with something more durable. All in all I am happy with it.
