got us through the blizzard after hurricane sandy. two days of running on just 16 gallons of gas, just be careful what size load you put on it. I definately recommend the 4000S if you are on a budget, but want a quality generator.

I purchesed 2 of these generators for my travel trailors, and I want to say that they are GREAT. They are not as quite as a 2000 watt honda, however we were very happy with how quite they were. I would buy these generators over again if I had another need for more. In case I didnt mention it my generators are the DuroMax xp 4000 Thank You C.E.C.

I bought this generator after a power outage that lasted for a week at my house. I ordered this on July 4th it was delivered on the 9th, 3 working days. I followed the instructions, put gas in the generator, and it started on the first pull. Its rated for 3300 watts and I plugged in a 1500watt heater and a circular saw, together about 3000 watts and the generator had no problems.

I received my generator yesterday. It came in just a few days. I did have a packaging issue. The shipping brace, which must be removed prior to operation, was very difficult to remove. All four bolts were over-tightened. I bent the wrenches that came with the unit and broke another one. I finally had to take an angle grinder and cut the bolts off. I still feel good about the purchase because I'm very impressed with the product. I bought it to power up my trailer. It runs the AC, lights, and fridge all at the same time without getting too loud and does not miss a beat. Several of my neighbors also have generators that were much more expensive and could not believe the performance and quality I got for the money.

I bought this generator after reading the reviews on the duromax generators. I recieved the generator in 4 or 5 days after i ordered it. I was impressed with the packing and the clean detail look of the unit. I was really impressed when it started on one pull. I ran my shopsmith with it and it didn't even miss a beat. Real smooth and quiet. I like it!!!
